Earlier today saw the appearance of US lifestyle guru and celebrity chef Martha Stewart, controversial tennis champion Maria Sharapova, singer Geri Halliwell, former F1 driver Nico Rosberg and <em>Games of Thrones</em> actor Liam Cunningham at Paddock Club. Stewart was dressed for the occasion in a breezy all white ensemble as she was met on the red carpet entry way by Yas Marina Circuit chief executive Tareq Al Ameri. “I am very happy to be here,” she says. “I don’t know too much about the Formula One but I am looking forward to it and the weather here is absolutely gorgeous.” Sharapova made a more low key entry with a friend while racing fan Cunningham has been spotted around the circuit over the weekend. Rosberg was also back in the capital after being crowned Formula One World Champion last year and then retiring a few days after the Abu Dhabi race: Also spotted around on social media was Manchester City's Benjamin Mendy. The footballer uploaded a photo on his Instagram at The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi. He was also spotted posting with Etihad Airways cabin crew members: Another footballer was also spotted in West Ham's Jose Fonte. He was in the Paddock area as a guest of driver Sergio Pérez: More celebrities are expected on Sunday to watch the race. While it has not been confirmed, US pop star and car enthusiast Pink should be attending before her race day performance at the du Arena.
