Ambani wedding: 30 photos from Akash and Shloka's ceremony

Here are the first official photos of the Ambani family on Akash and Shloka's wedding day: India's richest family posed next to an ornate flower wall as they arrived at Jio World Centre in the Bandra Kurla Complex.

The Ambanis were dressed in tonal pinks and reds for the first day of the wedding, with many celebrities arriving at the same time as them, including Aishwarya Rai and family, Priyanka Chopra (who arrived without Nick Jonas), Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh and wife Gauri Khan and Ranbir Kapoor.

Who wore what? See which designers the celebrities chose for the Saturday ceremony here - from Kareena to Katrina.

Also pictured arriving in the gallery above is former British Prime Minister Tony Blair and his wife Cherie, as well as former UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, former cricketer Sachin Tendulkar and Google CEO Sundar Pichai.

The events

Saturday, March 9 is the wedding ceremony at Jio World exhibition centre in Bandra Kurla - there will be a high tea at 6.30pm and the ceremony is expected to be at 7.30pm, with dinner afterwards.

Sunday March 10 is all about the wedding celebrations: this will be the lavish party portion of the week, also held at Jio World Centre. And then, on Monday March 11 there will another post-wedding reception, also at Jio World Centre, hosted by both of the families.

On the invitation, Mukesh and his wife Nita wrote: "As parents, our wish for them is for their love to grow stronger, their friendship deeper and their smiles brighter every single day."
