With the weather cooling down, things are heating up across the UAE. There are dozens of free-to-attend events on during the weekends, new movies to see, fitness challenges to test yourself with and art exhibitions to ponder over. Here's your ultimate guide to November events in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and the rest of the Emirates. Watersports company Sea Hawk has launched a new kiosk at Reem Central Park on Abu Dhabi’s Reem Island, offering people the chance to kayak and paddleboard around the island’s mangroves. The run takes you around several of Festival City's most pleasant sights; the golf course and the Creek boardwalk are highlights. After wowing Dubai Opera last year with a show dedicated to Ella Fitzgerald, the British soul star returns to the same venue with a brand new show dedicated to Aretha Franklin.
