For a no-expense-spared wedding, lavish dress is to be expected. And as Anant Ambani wed Radhika Merchant in Mumbai – with the final wedding celebrations taking place across the weekend – the couple's family and guests dressed for the occasion.

Complementing many of the traditional outfits were eye-grabbing jewels on necklaces, brooches, headdresses and more.

Here, we round up some of the most striking jewellery pieces seen at the weekend ceremony.

Anant Ambani's diamond panther and emerald brooch

The groom is no stranger to a statement brooch, having shown off several throughout the 18-month run-up to his wedding. This weekend, Anant wore a sizable Heeramaneck & Son 720-carat emerald brooch with a diamond Cartier panther upon it.

The theme was reminiscent of the vivid yellow diamond Lion brooch the 29-year-old wore to his pre-wedding celebrations in Jamnagar. Designer Lorraine Schwartz said of the piece on Instagram that she "especially enjoyed working on the lion brooch," explaining that their "love for the animals at their incredible animal sanctuary [ …] was inspiring.”

Radhika Merchant's heirloom accessories

Radhika opted to stick with family tradition, at least in part, when deciding upon her wedding day jewellery. Alongside her custom Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla lehenga, the bride wore jewellery worn on the wedding days of her grandmother, mother and most recently her sister Anjali in 2020. She paired her heirloom jewellery, such as her choker necklace, with a longer diamond necklace designed to match her existing pieces.

Nita Ambani's yellow diamonds and solitaire bun hairpins

Mother of the groom, Nita, likewise combined items from her personal collection with updates for the occasion. Posting her portrait to Instagram, her jeweller Kantilal Chhotalal described how they “brought to life” her personal collection “through over 1,000 hours of meticulous artisanship.” On the day, she wore a 100-carat yellow diamond necklace featuring five strands of diamond solitaires attached to the centrepiece, finalised with an 80-carat emerald-cut solitaire drop. The necklace was matched with yellow diamond earrings featuring a centre stone from her collection and accentuated by portrait-cut diamonds.

Ensuring she shined from all angles, the look was finalised with a yellow pear diamond tikka and diamond hairpins placed into her elegant bun.

Priyanka Chopra's archival Bulgari necklace

A friend of the family, Priyanka Chopra brought energy to the party with her dance moves and her jewellery choices. Speaking to TikTok creator Julia Chafe, Chopkra said: “I'm Bulgari girl,” when asked about her striking jewellery. She wore an archival necklace, a Serpenti Incantati watch and a Fiorever Ring crafted from 18-carat rose gold.

Kim Kardashian’s Lorraine Schwartz emerald headdress

Kim Kardashian wore different Lorraine Schwartz jewellery throughout the weekend to complement her trio of looks. Her second number, the reality TV star changed into a couture piece by Gaurav Gupta, matching the red hue with a striking emerald headpiece, alongside a matching bracelet-ring and earrings, all jewellery designer Lorraine Schwartz.

Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer Singh and other groomsmen's Audemars Piguet watches

In many cultures, the groom traditionally thanks his groomsmen for their support with a small present or gesture. Gifting an exclusive watch by Audemars Piguet isn't so commonplace, however. On the wedding day, Anant's groomsmen showed off their new timepieces, which were said to have been specially commissioned by the Ambani family for his 25 groomsmen.

The model is known as the Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar Limited Edition. It features a 41mm 18k rose gold dial and a dark blue subdial with sapphire crystals. Each is thought to be valued at $240,000 apiece, and actors Shah Rukh Khan and Ranveer Singh were among the groomsmen to receive the special gift.
