The village of Kan, in the mountainous governorate of Oman's Al Batinah region is in bloom as hundreds of apricot trees blossom.
The area, cool in winter and moderately warm in summer creates good conditions for growing the fruit, giving local farmers an income stream.
The trees begin flowering in February and begin to bear fruit in April.
