The specialist team from NMC Healthcare were flown in on two chartered flights with Air Arabia from Kochi and Trivandrum under special permission as flights remain suspended between the two countries.
The airlift follows a specially chartered eight-seater flight from Mumbai that landed in June to bring specialist carers back to the UAE, including a cardiologist, intensivist, critical care and pulmonology expert.
