ABU DHABI // A million dirhams and a Tesla car are among the prizes Yas Island is giving to shoppers as the annual Say Yas campaign begins next week.
From June 24 to September 9, visitors spending Dh400 or more on the island will be eligible to win a grand prize of Dh1m. Shoppers at Yas Mall will be in with a chance of a Tesla Model S.
The campaign is opening in line with a 24-hour sale at the mall on June 25, when Ferrari World Abu Dhabi will also be open for a 24-hour roller-coaster rally with live performances, games and four themed entertainment zones.
Visitors at Ferrari World or Yas Waterworld can also win daily and weekly prizes worth Dh5,000 and Dh50,000, in addition to the Dh1m grand prize.
Kiosks will be set up across the island at Yas Mall, Ferrari World, Yas Waterworld and Yas Marina Circuit where visitors can register and submit purchase receipts to enter the Say Yas draw.
“Given that our exciting spend and win campaign runs from Eid Al Fitr to Eid Al Adha, it is a wonderful time of joy and celebration,” said Gerardo LLanes, executive director of destination management at Yas Island.
“We made sure to offer a variety of activities during Eid that appeal to our visitors of all ages. With so many prizes up for grabs, we invite everyone to Say Yas to winning big this season.”
Participants can win bronze passes to Ferrari World and Yas Waterworld, Ferrari merchandise vouchers, a Camaro drag-driving experience, a Dh2,500 Yas Mall gift card, two million ADCB air miles and stays at Yas Island hotels.
The grand prize draw will take place on September 10, when the winner of the Dh1m prize and Tesla car will be announced.

What is hepatitis?
