Dubai Expo 2020 plans on show in Paris



DUBAI // Plans for the Expo 2020 in Dubai were shared in Paris on Thursday by UAE officials with the Bureau International des Expositions, the organization overseeing the world trade fair.
This was the second of many updates required to officially register the first expo in the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia region.
"The Expo 2020 site is strategically located within Dubai World Central which is the future economic driver of the Emirate of Dubai," said Khalifa Al Zaffin, executive chairman of Dubai Aviation City Corporation and member of the Expo 2020 Dubai Higher Committee.
Reem Al Hashimy, Minister of State and managing director of the Dubai Expo 2020 Higher Committee said they were pleased to work and share plans with the BIE.
"We are confident these plans will allow us to successfully achieve our vision and goals to produce a meaningful Expo," she said.
