Ferrari, which makes some of the world’s most expensive cars, will hold an online auction later this month to benefit the charity Save the Children.
The Italian luxury car manufacturer will auction a new Ferrari Roma between October 22 and 29 in the US, according to Sotheby’s which is facilitating the sale through RM Sotheby’s Online Only Platform.
“I can’t imagine a more meaningful and timely way to deliver a new GP. We want to support their critical education work in the US,” said Matteo Torre, president, Ferrari North America.

Save the Children has changed the lives of over one billion children since its inception 100 years ago. Working with children not only in the United States, but also in Africa, Asia, Europe and South America, the charity seeks to provide them with the proper tools to fight poverty, disease and danger.
The sports car model, a mid-front-engined 2+ coupe, sells for $347,995 at the listed manufacturing price and already has a long waiting list in the running.
The auction is being supported by Maroon 5 frontman and Ferrari collector Adam Levine and his wife, supermodel and philanthropist Behati Prinsloo.
“It is the right time for anybody who has the means to try and help,” said Levine.
This auction is only open to North American bidders or clients who can demonstrate North American residence.
Built to US specifications, this Roma will be delivered to the winning bidder through the North American official Ferrari dealership of their choosing. This will be among the very first Romas to be delivered in North America.
“The opportunity to acquire an early-production slot of an all-new Ferrari model does not come every day. Benefitting a worthy cause, this Roma would be an excellent addition to any collection,” according to a statement on the Ferrari website.
