New media city sees future in Baghdad



Baghdad Media City has broken ground on its US$128 million (Dh470.1m) first phase and plans to be supporting the world's top media brands by the end of next year, says Zyad Aldarwish, its vice chairman. The venture is the latest in a string of media services centres launched in the region in the past few years - including twofour54 in Abu Dhabi - but the first in an area still widely considered dangerous.
