Dubai apartments often have views, which is hardly surprising given that it’s a city that prides itself on its ability to scale new heights.
If you are selling or buying an apartment the view becomes integral to the overall value, and this apartment in Dubai’s World Trade Centre Residence is at the heart of the city, overlooking what was the Middle East’s tallest building for 25 years and staring at the world’s tallest building.
It is on the market for Dh13 million and while its panoramic views are incredible, being very nearly at the top of the 38-floor building, the price is because of its interior. The apartment has been remodelled from a four bedroom to a three bedroom, making the master bedroom as large as some apartments and the overall area of 3,638 square feet as spacious as a villa.
Any buyer will also save themselves the time furnishing the residence as the price tag includes all of the apartment’s Versace furniture and a fully equipped kitchen.
Each bedroom has a bathroom and there is an additional guest bathroom. The building is a mix of residential and hotel apartments offering round-the-clock service with a rooftop swimming pool and children’s wading pool. The amenities also include a fitness centre and landscaped rooftop sun deck. The hotel residences are managed by the Jumeirah Group.
It has been widely reported that the recovery of the Dubai property market has had something of a slow down this year, and it is worth noting that this apartment has been up for sale for the past eight months.
“The owner knows how much he spent redeveloping the apartment and understands its prime location,” says Conny Mathei, an estate agent with Better Homes. “He doesn’t need to sell and believes the price with the fabulous furniture, the incredible views and the amount of work done is fair. Apartments at this price point just need to find the correct buyer.”
