Female leaders lift their companies’ bottom line



If you are searching for that extra boost to your company’s earnings, try putting women on your board or in your C-suite.

That is the conclusion of a Credit Suisse report. The study said that companies with more women in decision-making roles generated on average 19 per cent more returns on equity than their male-dominated competitors. As a bonus, they also ran more conservative balance sheets.

In some cases, women-led companies doubled the stock price performance of their competitors.
