It's Valentine's Day, which means couples are taking to social media to show just how loved-up they are. However, when it comes to gushing, celebrities are in a league of their own; a red balloon-filled, teddy bear-stuffed, heart-shaped candy-packed, over zealous gesture-jammed one.
Here, we take a look at the way A-list celebrities are celebrating the most romantic day of the year:
John Legend and Chrissy Teigen
It's no secret that the singer and model are an in-tune couple. After all, Legend is behind some of the most romantic songs of the last 15 years, most of which are written about his wife of seven years.
Although it was not an insight into their Valentine's Day plans, the couple both appeared on Instagram, where the singer posted a pre-Valentine's Day concert for fans from the comfort of their home. Extra points for the heart-shaped decorations in the background and top-to-toe red apparel.
Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan
Kareena Kapoor Khan gave us a cute insight into her relationship with husband of eight years, Saif Ali Khan.
"I have loved you despite this moustache ... my forever Valentine," she wrote on Instagram.
Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli
New parents Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli also celebrated their love on Instagram. The Bollywood actress posted of her cricketer husband: "Not too big on this day in particular but today seemed like the quintessential day for posting posed sunset photos ... My valentine every day forever and beyond."
The couple welcomed their baby girl Vamika Kohli in January.
Kamala Harris and Doug Emhoff
US Vice President Kamala Harris and the second gentleman, Doug Emhoff spent the day before Valentine's Day handing out coffee and heart-shaped cookies to health care workers at the VA Medical Centre in Washington.
Each cookie was individually wrapped with a note that read: "Have a sweet Valentine's Day! We appreciate you. Kamala & Doug."
Neha Kakkar and Rohanpreet Singh
Indian singer Neha Kakkar and her husband Rohanpreet Singh have celebrated Valentine's Day with a new tattoo.
Singer and actor Singh got some new ink, which reads: "Neha's man". Kakkar described it as the "best gift ever".
Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky
The Thor actor celebrated his Spanish actress wife of 10 years with a cute selfie and a simple kiss emoji. Pataky also posted a selfie of the pair together, with the caption, "Always and forever."
Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja
Sonam Kapoor celebrated her businessman husband Anand Ahuja with a post on Instagram, thanking him for joining her in Scotland during the Blind shoot.
"Thanks to my amazing husband who spent 5 out of the 6 weeks with me in Glasgow ... It was amazing coming back to him after shoot everyday ... It would have been so much easier for him to work from home in London, but he was here with me as the most supportive, encouraging and generous partner," she wrote. "I appreciate you and I’ll never take you for granted ... love you."
Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra
Actress Shilpa Shetty celebrated her businessman husband Raj Kundra with a montage video on Instagram.
"From then to now ... May the smiles never change," she wrote on Instagram.
Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin
As Justin Bieber gears up for a TikTok concert this Valentine's Day, his wife Hailey Baldwin has been paying tribute to the singer with a cute Instagram post of a photo of them together, with no caption.
Cardi B and Offset
Rapper Cardi B was surprised by her husband Offset with a suite filled with roses and red balloons while on holiday.
Cardi B shared a video of the romantic gesture on Instagram.
"Wow, you did that for me?" she asks in the clip. "I did that for you," he replies.
She responds: "Well I don't even know what to say."

Key figures in the life of the fort
Sheikh Dhiyab bin Isa (ruled 1761-1793) Built Qasr Al Hosn as a watchtower to guard over the only freshwater well on Abu Dhabi island.
Sheikh Shakhbut bin Dhiyab (ruled 1793-1816) Expanded the tower into a small fort and transferred his ruling place of residence from Liwa Oasis to the fort on the island.
Sheikh Tahnoon bin Shakhbut (ruled 1818-1833) Expanded Qasr Al Hosn further as Abu Dhabi grew from a small village of palm huts to a town of more than 5,000 inhabitants.
Sheikh Khalifa bin Shakhbut (ruled 1833-1845) Repaired and fortified the fort.
Sheikh Saeed bin Tahnoon (ruled 1845-1855) Turned Qasr Al Hosn into a strong two-storied structure.
Sheikh Zayed bin Khalifa (ruled 1855-1909) Expanded Qasr Al Hosn further to reflect the emirate's increasing prominence.
Sheikh Shakhbut bin Sultan (ruled 1928-1966) Renovated and enlarged Qasr Al Hosn, adding a decorative arch and two new villas.
Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan (ruled 1966-2004) Moved the royal residence to Al Manhal palace and kept his diwan at Qasr Al Hosn.

Pharaoh's curse
British aristocrat Lord Carnarvon, who funded the expedition to find the Tutankhamun tomb, died in a Cairo hotel four months after the crypt was opened.
He had been in poor health for many years after a car crash, and a mosquito bite made worse by a shaving cut led to blood poisoning and pneumonia.
Reports at the time said Lord Carnarvon suffered from “pain as the inflammation affected the nasal passages and eyes”.
Decades later, scientists contended he had died of aspergillosis after inhaling spores of the fungus aspergillus in the tomb, which can lie dormant for months. The fact several others who entered were also found dead withiin a short time led to the myth of the curse.
