Mothers across the US and Australia celebrated Mother's Day on Sunday, including many A-listers. Among the stars to share touching tributes was Gigi Hadid , who marked her first Mother's Day since giving birth to baby Khai in September 2020. The model, who is of Palestinian and Dutch heritage, shared a number of never-before-seen pictures with her eight-month-old daughter, whom she called her "best friend". "The rumours are true: my best friend, purpose, muse, greatest pride and joy!" she captioned the series of images. "I feel so lucky and inspired being your mama, my Khai! An old soul full of sunshine, you light up everyone's days! Thank you, thank you, thank you." In another post, she paid tribute to her mother, Yolanda, as well as her grandmother. "Life! Miracles! Mothers!" she wrote. "Cheers to our angels above and to you Yolanda Hadid, the most inspiring mama and best Oma we could ever ask for! We love you more than words. Eternally grateful." The beauty mogul celebrated an extra-special Mother's Day on Sunday, as it happened to fall on the same day as her youngest son Psalm's birthday.
