Springsteen tops Rolling Stone list

Bruce Springsteen and the newcomer blues-rock band Alabama Shakes landed the top awards in Rolling Stone magazine's annual list of the year's best music. Springsteen's Wrecking Ball topped the magazine's list of best albums. He came in ahead of Frank Ocean's debut Channel Orange at No 2 and Jack White's solo effort, Blunderbuss, at No 3. LA police apologise to rapper's family

The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) has apologised to the family of Notorious B.I.G. after releasing his autopsy report on Friday without informing them first. The rapper was killed in a 1997 shooting that remains unsolved, and the LAPD said it hoped the coroner's findings would help the case. A lawyer for the family lashed out against police, lamenting that no arrests have been made a decade and a half after the rapper was killed. Hugh Jackman says he regrets not accepting the lead role in the James Bond film Casino Royale, which went to Daniel Craig. Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott is expecting. Scott announced her pregnancy on Friday on Twitter, calling the baby "our Christmas gift".
