Nicki Minaj is in Dubai – and she’s not afraid to show it, after posting a series of snaps on social media.
The rapper is the star of the moment after storming the MTV VMA’s on Sunday August 30, winning headlines worldwide after very publicly insulting Miley Cyrus (and winning an award).
Minaj dropped down in the UAE late on Tuesday (September 1) night, and posted the message: “Just landed in Dubai with Bae”.
The “Bae” in question is Minaj’s boyfriend, the rapper Meek Mill, who performed at Dubai’s People by Crystal that very night.

Alongside the image she posted a picture of what looks to be a very small cake in the shape of a pink high-heeled shoe – très VIP.
Then in the early hours of Wednesday September 2, she posted a series of four intimate selfies from her hotel bed.
The excuse for being inside? "U guys I'm not even kidding it's about 800 degrees in Dubai right now", she posted to the approval of 453,000 Instagram followers. Her most recent Instagram post shared a picture of her and Mill holding hands, presumed to have been taken at the Dubai club the evening before.
Mill posted what appears to be the same picture – albeit with a sharper filter affect, suggesting more Instagram know-how – four hours earlier. However at the time of writing, he had clocked just 131,000 likes, while Minaj had amassed 297,000 for the same picture. It’s just not fair.
Fans also got in on the action, with Instagram user sayluuum sharing a video of Minaj's arrival at the Dubai club.

In general, however, the Minaj-Mills double act appears to have done a good job of dodging the public gaze, with a dearth of pictures of the celebrity couple in Dubai so far. Or maybe the UAE clubbers just haven’t woken up yet.
