Make your way around The Dubai Mall for free in an electric car

If the thought of walking around the world’s largest shopping mall makes you immediately weary, The Dubai Mall has come up with a solution.

Shoppers are now able to rent one of two electric cars to get them from one end of the mall to the other.

Emaar is charging up its visitor experience, in addition to the 10-seater electric car service it launched recently in partnership with the Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) to cover the Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard that circumferences the mall.

The electric vehicles underline Emaar’s commitment to supporting Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum vision for a Smart Dubai.

To access the electric cars, visitors should contact the Guest Services Desk to hire one. The vehicles are charged at dedicated stations by The Waterfall, set up by the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority.

Each electric car can accommodate four people and the cars can be reserved for specific point-to-point rides. Between service, the cars will be parked by The Waterfall Atrium, Fashion Catwalk and Grand Atrium.

This service is complementary for shoppers.
