Chrissy Teigen, John Legend and Gwyneth Paltrow drive through Hollywood to celebrate Joe Biden’s win

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend have been outspoken in their dislike of US President Donald Trump over the past four years, so it's no surprise that the A-list couple were first in line for a Hollywood victory parade to celebrate Joe Biden and Kamala Harris' win in the US elections.

The couple have been the subject of tweeted tirades from Trump over the years, with the president once referring to Legend as a “boring musician".

During the parade, the pair hung out of the sunroof and windows of their car to celebrate in the streets of West Hollywood, as onlookers lined the streets and cheered.

Taking to Instagram, Teigen shared a photo of her children, Luna, 4, and Miles, 2, watching the election, along with the caption: “Democracy restored, faith renewed.”

Before the couple headed to Santa Monica Boulevard, 34-year-old Teigen lamented on Twitter that she was "jealous of everyone partying in the streets, Beverly Hills quiet". She then filmed herself getting ready, saying: “I’m getting out there.”

The Sports Illustrated cover star and Cravings author was soon all over social media, pictured celebrating and saying of the impromptu parade: "Everyone is so beautiful and so happy, I'm crying."

Teigen also posted a photo of herself with incoming Vice President Kamala Harris, in a move replicated by Oscar winner Gwyneth Paltrow, who shared an image of herself with Harris, writing: "A momentous day for women all around the globe as Kamala Harris makes history. Congratulations Madame Vice President."

The Iron Man actress, 48, stylishly drove through the parade in a white convertible Mercedes-Benz, with her TV producer husband, Brad Falchuk, in the passenger seat waving to the crowds.

Also spotted at the parade were 21-year-old singer and Justin Bieber protegee, Madison Beer, and Hawaii Five-O actress Cara Santana.
