Four Top Gear Live shows due to take place in Norway next week have been postponed, the BBC announced on March 24, two weeks after Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson was suspended after he punched a producer. The four performances were due to take place on Friday, March 27 and Saturday, March 28.
All performances will be rescheduled, the BBC said, while dates later this year will be confirmed within the next two weeks. All other Top Gear Live dates will run as scheduled.
The BBC said it apologised for the inconvenience and would “endeavour to contact all ticket holders directly to inform them of the change of dates”.
Clarkson was suspended on March 10 and the three remaining episodes of Top Gear season 22 were cancelled after his fracas with producer Oisin Tymon.
An online petition for the Top Gear host to be reinstated has to date received more than one million signatures.
