Bollywood actor Farhan Akhtar was in town with wife and spunky celebrity hairstylist Adhuna Akhtar to open the first international branch of the b:blunt salon.
The chic couple inaugurated the salon at the Liberty House at Dubai International Financial Centre recently.
Adhuna, known for creating buzz-worthy celebrity hairdos, is responsible for growing the b:blunt brand, which she started with her brother Osh Bhabani in 2004. The Haircrafters Company in Dubai has teamed up with the salon to bring her signature style mantra and hair care services to the emirate.
“We are very happy to announce b:blunt’s foray in Dubai,” said Adhuna Bhabani Akhtar, the Creative Director of b:blunt.
“b:blunt is proud to introduce its savoir-faire through an extensive range of services for both men and women.”
The salon will offer tailor-made haircuts, colouring and styling options. Clients can choose from a range of absolute to creative colour solutions that will be customised for their hair type and personality. The salons will use L’Oreal Professionelle and Redken products for the hair services and the Jessica range for nail treatments.
The salon is designed to fit in with DIFC’s decor with urban and vintage furniture and pop art to extend a cool vibe. The colour bar for women and a Gentlemen Club Longue with vintage barbering chair and London phone booth will add to the spa experience.
