The official trailer for The Me You Can't See, a new show co-created and executive produced by Prince Harry and Oprah Winfrey, has been released.
The Apple Original multi-part documentary series will delve into mental health issues and feature segments from athletes and stars, including Lady Gaga and Glenn Close.
The show will debut on May 21.
The series has partnered with 14 accredited mental health professionals and organisations from around the world in hopes of shedding light on different pathways to treatment. In the trailer, Prince Harry and Winfrey speak about their own experiences.
“What words have you heard around mental health?” asks Prince Harry.
“Lost it. Can’t keep it together. With that stigma of being labelled ‘the other’ – the telling of the story, being able to say this is what happened to me – is crucial,” says Winfrey.
Aside from Lady Gaga and Close, participants in the series include NBA players DeMar DeRozan and Langston Galloway, Olympic boxer Virginia “Ginny” Fuchs and chef Rashad Armstead.
"The majority of us carry some form of unresolved trauma, loss or grief, which feels – and is – very personal. Yet the last year has shown us that we are all in this together and my hope is that this series will show there is power in vulnerability, connection in empathy and strength in honesty," Prince Harry said in a statement when the show was first announced.
The project was announced about two months after Winfrey's sit-down interview with Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle.
The couple have dived heavily into streaming in their post-royal lives, signing a deal with Netflix, as well as a podcast deal with Spotify. Markle has also narrated a documentary for Disney+.
