Game of Thrones stars Rose Leslie and Kit Harington, both 34, have welcomed their first child together, a baby boy.
The couple, who met and fell in love on the set of the hit HBO show, have yet to announce the newborn's name and birth date, but Harington's publicist Marianna Shafran confirmed the birth on Tuesday.
Shafran told E! that the couple are “very very happy".
The pair live a relatively low-key life, away from paparazzi and publicity, but Leslie's pregnancy was confirmed in September when she did a photoshoot for digital magazine Make.
Of preparing for family life, Scottish actress Leslie told the magazine that the couple were leaving New York behind, swapping it for life in the British countryside.
"What a glorious thing to be able to run to the countryside and recoup. It’s a great privilege to be surrounded by greenery, birdsong and hedgerows, and our delightful neighbours. It’s so peaceful," she said.
It’s the first child for both Leslie and English actor Harington, who married in 2018.
Their relationship began in 2011 on the set of Game of Thrones in which they played star-crossed lovers Jon Snow and Ygritte, he a brother of the Night's Watch with world-changing secrets in his past, she a part of the rebel wildlings.

New process leads to panic among jobseekers
As a UAE-based travel agent who processes tourist visas from the Philippines, Jennifer Pacia Gado is fielding a lot of calls from concerned travellers just now. And they are all asking the same question.
“My clients are mostly Filipinos, and they [all want to know] about good conduct certificates,” says the 34-year-old Filipina, who has lived in the UAE for five years.
Ms Gado contacted the Philippines Embassy to get more information on the certificate so she can share it with her clients. She says many are worried about the process and associated costs – which could be as high as Dh500 to obtain and attest a good conduct certificate from the Philippines for jobseekers already living in the UAE.
“They are worried about this because when they arrive here without the NBI [National Bureau of Investigation] clearance, it is a hassle because it takes time,” she says.
“They need to go first to the embassy to apply for the application of the NBI clearance. After that they have go to the police station [in the UAE] for the fingerprints. And then they will apply for the special power of attorney so that someone can finish the process in the Philippines. So it is a long process and more expensive if you are doing it from here.”
