Applications for the UAE's version of popular UK television cooking show Come Dine With Me are now open.

OSN is set to broadcast 45 episodes of the Arabic version of the hit show, and is on the hunt for contestants who have what it takes to whip up a three-course meal for a group of strangers, in the hope of winning a cash prize.

Each hopeful will take it in turns to host a dinner party over the course of a week, which they are scored for, in secret, by their fellow diners. At the end of the week, the winner will be announced.

In collaboration with ITV Studios Middle East, OSN is now accepting applications from UAE residents only, who want the chance to take part in the show. Hopefuls must be over the age of 23. Applications are open until Friday, July 17.

Anyone interested in taking part in the show is asked to send their name, address and mobile number to itvsme-casting@itv.com.

Come Dine with Me will be rebranded as Yalla Neta'asha and will run from Sunday to Thursday, with a new group of contestants every week.

The TV format has been running for more than 15 years in the UK, and has been replicated with great success around the world, in countries including Australia, Canada, Greece, Ireland and South Africa.

"OSN is thrilled about the upcoming OSN original, Come Dine with Me, which will be the first time an original production of the extremely popular show comes to our region," OSN's interim chief content officer, Rolla Karam, said. "This production further cements our commitment to providing curated content and bringing the best in entertainment to our audiences in the Middle East.

"We believe that Come Dine with Me will be as huge a success in the Middle East as it is in the United Kingdom and are very excited for what's to come in the pipeline in terms of original productions."
