K-pop group B.I.G have released a song about the coronavirus pandemic; and it's in Arabic.
The lyrics of the upbeat and anthemic Corona Song tell people to stay strong and have faith that a world without Covid-19 will return.
A 35-second excerpt on YouTube shows the group writing and recording the tune.
In addition to B.I.G, GH Entertainment’s other artists participated in the project and have sung the song in a total of six different languages.
Girl group 3YE released English and Spanish versions of the Corona Song, while soloists Soya, Kang Tae-kang, and Louis Choi covered it in Japanese, Chinese and German.
All the artists got together to sing a Korean version as well.
This isn’t the first time B.I.G, which is an acronym for Boys in Groove, have brought the Arabic language to the popular genre.
Before the band performed in Abu Dhabi in November, they released two versions of their song Illusion, one in Korean and the other in Arabic.
The move made them the first group to sing a K-pop song in Arabic.
Their covers of Arabic songs, which includes Emirati singer Hussain Al Jassmi's Boshret Kheir, have become immensely popular, raking in close to a million views. They've also taken on hits such as La Bezzaf by former Arab boy band The5, and Lm3allem by Saad Lamjarred.

What is Financial Fair Play?
Introduced in 2011 by Uefa, European football’s governing body, it demands that clubs live within their means. Chiefly, spend within their income and not make substantial losses.
What the rules dictate?
The second phase of its implementation limits losses to €30 million (Dh136m) over three seasons. Extra expenditure is permitted for investment in sustainable areas (youth academies, stadium development, etc). Money provided by owners is not viewed as income. Revenue from “related parties” to those owners is assessed by Uefa's “financial control body” to be sure it is a fair value, or in line with market prices.
What are the penalties?
There are a number of punishments, including fines, a loss of prize money or having to reduce squad size for European competition – as happened to PSG in 2014. There is even the threat of a competition ban, which could in theory lead to PSG’s suspension from the Uefa Champions League.

French business
France has organised a delegation of leading businesses to travel to Syria. The group was led by French shipping giant CMA CGM, which struck a 30-year contract in May with the Syrian government to develop and run Latakia port.
