Justin Timberlake confirms wife Jessica Biel gave birth to second child named Phineas

Justin Timberlake has confirmed that he and actress wife, Jessica Biel, welcomed a baby boy named Phineas last year.

Until now, the couple have not announced the birth of their second so, who is the younger brother to Silas Randall, 5.

The exact birth date of the tot has not been disclosed, but it is thought to be around July. In September, Timberlake's NSync bandmate, Lance Bass, confirmed the couple's baby news to ET.

"The baby is cute of course, it's Justin and Jessica!" he said of the couple's second child. He added that he had seen pictures but could not share the name, joking: "Justin would kill me!"

Timberlake, 39, confirmed news of the new arrival to chat show host Ellen DeGeneres, during a video interview to promote his new film, Palmer.

"His name is Phineas, and he's awesome and he's so cute ... and nobody's sleeping! But we're thrilled and couldn't be happier, very grateful," he said during the interview.

Timberlake and Biel, 38, are thought to be at their Big Sky, Montana, home, where they have been isolating during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The couple have been together since 2007 and married in Italy in October 2012.

Timberlake is set to perform new song, Better Days, at President-elect Joe Biden's inauguration on Wednesday, January 20.
