Justin Bieber is taking fans for a trip down memory lane for his Valentine's Day concert.
The Canadian pop star will jump on TikTok to perform the entirety of his compilation album Journals.
Released in 2013, the collection rounded up the digital singles the Biebes released during his Believe world tour, which landed in Dubai's The Sevens Stadium for two sold-out shows in May 2013.
Bieber's virtual concert will be streamed on his TikTok account on Sunday at 9pm EST (6am UAE time on Monday) and replayed at 1pm EST (10pm UAE time) on Monday.
The concert will mark a major achievement for the video-sharing app, as it will be the first long-form concert presented on the platform.
"I'm excited to bring this show to life," Bieber said. "Journals is one of my favourite projects and I've never performed it live. I'm grateful to TikTok for helping me to bring this show to everyone on Valentine's Day."
This online gig comes after a well-received streamed concert by Bieber on New Year's Eve.
A pay-per-view event, the lavishly shot show held in The Beverly Hilton hotel in Los Angeles featured a five-piece band, dancers, cutting-edge lighting and a purpose-built stage.
As with the LA concert, Bieber is keeping the location of the TikTok show under wraps, simply promising that it is taking place in a significant venue.
Journals from the road
One his more idiosyncratic projects, Journals began as a way to keep Bieber occupied during his gruelling 14-month tour to promote his third album Believe.
With no specific goal in mind, the singer wrote several songs throughout 2012 and 2013, initially naming each one after the city where it was composed.
The casual nature of the creative process resulted in Bieber opening up and penning some of his most heartfelt songs.
A lot of the material, such as Heartbreaker and All That Matters, act as apology letters to former partners (one of whom is Selena Gomez) for his lack of maturity.
While Recovery and All Bad find Bieber pledging to take more responsibility for his actions as he grows up.
By 2013, Bieber realised he had a potential album on his hands.
However, because of the intimate nature of the material and his ongoing tour, he decided to drop one new song every Monday for 10 weeks.
The campaign, which began on October 3, 2013 culminated in the release of Believe, the concert film based on Bieber's tour.
Ever since the release of Journals, Bieber has performed a few tracks from the project on subsequent tours, but he's never performed it live in its entirety before now.
The opportunity to see him deliver the songs in one complete performance should shed more light on a star in flux and his road to redemption.

Also on December 7 to 9, the third edition of the Gulf Car Festival (www.gulfcarfestival.com) will take over Dubai Festival City Mall, a new venue for the event. Last year's festival brought together about 900 cars worth more than Dh300 million from across the Emirates and wider Gulf region – and that first figure is set to swell by several hundred this time around, with between 1,000 and 1,200 cars expected. The first day is themed around American muscle; the second centres on supercars, exotics, European cars and classics; and the final day will major in JDM (Japanese domestic market) cars, tuned vehicles and trucks. Individuals and car clubs can register their vehicles, although the festival isn’t all static displays, with stunt drifting, a rev battle, car pulls and a burnout competition.
