Axl Rose says he hopes 'great' Abu Dhabi crowd weren't disappointed with Guns N' Roses Grand Prix show - hints at return

Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose has said he hopes fans in Abu Dhabi were not disappointed with their Grand Prix show , and has hinted that the group will return to the UAE. The band rounded-off a strong weekend of music at the du Arena on Yas Island with their closing show on Sunday evening, but the set had to be cut short by Rose, who told fans he had been unwell earlier in the day. While the band still managed to put on a strong show, it's fair to say fans were somewhat disappointment with the abrupt ending . And Rose has now taken to Twitter to thank his followers for their well-wishes, while praising the crowd in Abu Dhabi. “Wanna thank All the fans, the band n’ every1 4 their concern n’ well wishes!, he says. “In Johannesburg w/plenty of time 2 b ready 4 the show! This flu or whatever is a wild ride! Comes in waves. Ur ok till ur not!” (sic) He adds: “Felt lame explainin’ myself earlier on at the gig but really didn’t know how things would play out n’ we really wanted to do r best 4 the fans. Was a GREAT crowd, awesome venue, cool stage (w/a gentle breeze in the desert!)” Despite rumours that this will be the band’s final tour, Rose said they were planning to return to the UAE. “Thanks again n’ hope any1’s not 2 disappointed n’ we look 4ward 2 see every1 again in the UAE!!” (sic). _____________ Read more _____________
