Sherine has enjoyed a career that spans two decades and is one of the most popular Egyptian singers of her generation.

The International Festival of Carthage returned in July after a two-year hiatus because of the pandemic.
The annual festival has been held in Tunisia since 1964, taking place in July and August almost every year.
The performance took place in the Roman Theatre of Carthage, a restored amphitheatre located on the outskirts of Tunis, believed to have been built as far back as the first century CE.
