Sorry Judi Dench, you've just been usurped.

The Skyfall actress was the reigning star of TikTok last week, but now Sir Anthony Hopkins has come along to steal her spotlight.

The Oscar-winning actor joined the social media site this weekend, stealing fans' hearts as he slid, quite literally, into action.

The Silence of the Lambs actor, 82, celebrated joining the video-sharing platform by performing his take on Drake's viral dance challenge.

"I’m late to the party ... but better late than never," he captioned his video, which he also shared on Twitter and Instagram.

Bouncing along to the Canadian rapper's song Toosie Slide, Hopkins nailed all the moves before urging two Hollywood heavyweights to try their hand at the challenge.

Calling upon Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger to take part, the Welsh actor showed off his esteemed acting chops by impersonating the two action stars.

"Hey, Mr Stallone, keep writing! Good part for me in it? Gimme a part, major – huh?" he joked, before also uttering Schwarzenegger's "I'll be back" catchphrase from the Terminator films.

He's already racked up more than 106,000 TikTok followers with just the one upload.

Dancing isn't the only skill Hopkins has been displaying on social media, either, as he stays home amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The Two Popes actor, who also has three Baftas and two Emmys to his name, has showed off his artwork on Instagram.

He has been creating colourful portraits "just for the fun of it".

Hopkins, who was knighted in 1993, has also been playing the piano for his online fans, along with his cat, Niblo.

"Niblo is making sure I stay healthy and demands I entertain him in exchange," the actor captioned the above clip.

The Meet Joe Black actor has also shared short motivational clips, such as this one wishing viewers a "happy Sunday" as he urges them to "keep smiling".

Taking his social media exploits one step further, Hopkins announced last week that he will hold an Instagram Live session for followers on Sunday, May 17.

He is set to play the piano in the virtual get-together, which will start at 1pm PST (1am on Monday, May 11, UAE time).

"Leave your questions below – I’ll be answering as many as I can during the live," he said in a post announcing the session.
