Australian artist Kathryn Ryan, who has been living and working in the UAE since 2008, is having a large-scale survey exhibition of her work in her hometown in Australia. Warrnambool Art Gallery in Victoria, Australia will include a number of artworks painted over a 20 year period. A Quiet Place shows landscapes and countryside of her native Australia as well as several charcoal drawings that respond to the life and culture in the UAE. The exhibition of 40 pieces of art will run from July 19 — November 22.

Real estate tokenisation project
Dubai launched the pilot phase of its real estate tokenisation project last month.
The initiative focuses on converting real estate assets into digital tokens recorded on blockchain technology and helps in streamlining the process of buying, selling and investing, the Dubai Land Department said.
Dubai’s real estate tokenisation market is projected to reach Dh60 billion ($16.33 billion) by 2033, representing 7 per cent of the emirate’s total property transactions, according to the DLD.
