Art Couture, the gallery that used to populate the walls of The Al Badia Golf Club in Dubai Festival city has relocated their exhibitions and events to the InterContinental Dubai Festival City’s Event Centre.
For their next exhibition in the new space, they will feature the work of abstract expressionist artist Dana Naser. Naser is a Dubai-based Canadian-Jordanian artist, designer and photographer who uses says that she collects images, experiences and emotions and expresses them through her art, relying on intense colours and incorporating various forms, patterns and textures. She says each canvas tells a story her personal journey to discover her identity as an artist. Titled Journey into Abstraction, the exhibition ties in with the Emirates Festival of Literature’s theme of Journeys, as both events take place in the same spot next month.
Journey Into Abstraction runs from February 25, 2017- March 13 and there will be an Art & Coffee Morning on Thursday March 2 from 11am-1pm.
