It hardly seems necessary to introduce the viral word game Wordle, after it amassed millions of players within mere months and was then bought by The New York Times.
The game, developed by software engineer Josh Wardle, has since been the subject of several spin-offs and even been translated into various languages, including Arabic.
Debates have raged across social media about whether or not it's become harder in recent weeks, and every single day you'll find people proudly sharing their scores — or angrily lamenting the day's word.

Now, a new study by website Word Tips has revealed which countries have the best Wordle scores.
The most efficient nation at guessing the daily riddle is Sweden, with the average player guessing the right word in 3.72 tries.
That's followed by Switzerland, with an average of 3.78 guesses, and Poland in third place with 3.79.
People in Belgium and Australia take 3.8 goes each, while in Finland it's 3.81 and Denmark, Brazil and South Africa are tied with 3.83.
In 10th place it's Israel, where they take 3.84 attempts to get the right word.
The UAE comes in joint 11th position with Ireland, where people take an average of 3.87 guesses.
The survey also accounted for the top cities and it's Canberra, Australia that takes the first slot, with an average of 3.58 guesses per puzzle.
Jerusalem, Israel comes in second, with Malmo, Sweden in third and Durban, South Africa and Paris rounding out the top five.
Three more Australian cities — Perth, Melbourne and Adelaide — come in sixth, seventh and eighth place, respectively, followed by Manila and finally Geneva in 10th.
